Profile Switcher for Claude (“the extension”) is an independent, unofficial browser extension that lets you save and switch between your own claude.ai login sessions. This policy explains exactly what it does with your data.

The short version: The extension stores your saved session data locally in your own browser. It has no server, makes no network requests of its own, and sends your data to no one — not to us, not to any third party.

What data is handled

To switch between accounts, the extension reads and restores the data that keeps you logged in to claude.ai:

Session cookies for claude.ai and anthropic.com (including httpOnly authentication cookies).
A small amount of localStorage from your open claude.ai tab that is part of the session.

When you click “Save”, this data is captured and stored under the name you choose.

Where the data is stored

All saved profiles are stored using the browser’s local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device. The data:

never leaves your browser,
is not transmitted to the developer or any third party,
is not analyzed, profiled, sold, or shared.

How the data is used

Solely to restore a session when you choose to switch to it. That is the extension’s only purpose.

Security note

Saved session data is stored locally and is not encrypted. Anyone with access to your browser profile or device could potentially read it. Only use the extension on a trusted, private device. Treat saved sessions like any other saved login.

Removing your data

Deleting a profile in the extension removes it from storage. Removing the extension deletes all of its stored data.

Permissions

The extension requests only the permissions needed for its single purpose: cookies, storage, tabs, scripting, and host access limited to claude.ai and *.anthropic.com.
